A Brief Description
The complete wafer biscuit line consists of 31-plate gas
fired oven, turbo mixer, sheet conveyor, cream mixer, spreading machine,
cooling tunnel (optional), wafer cutter & wafer crusher.

Oven
Specifications
31 pairs of plates, size 350
x 470 mm, made of special alloy steel which withstand high temperature
without deformation, are mounted on frames which are linked to each
other forming a continuous chain on bearings. This chain moves in
gas -fired oven completing one revolution in approximately 3 minutes.
The chain is rotated by a 3 H.P. /900 R.P.M. motor. The outer shell
of oven is made of stainless steel. The oven ignition is controlled
by an electronic programmer which incorporates all safety features
including "NO FLAME NO GAS".

Turbo Mixer
Vessel made of stainless steel.
Vessel measurement 500 x 800mm. Capacity 70 kg. Batter mixing is
done at high speed with well designed stirrer revolving at the speed
of 1400 r.p.m.. Mixing starts at the push of a button and automatically
shuts off at the preset time. One batch is ready in less than 3
minutes. Powered by 3 H.P. motor.

Cream Mixer
Vessel made of stainless steel.
Vessel size 525 x 475mm. Capacity 40 kg. Two speed stirrer (24/48
rpm) with planetary motion which produces cream of very fine texture.

Sheet Conveyor
For transporting baked sheets
from oven to wafer spreading machine. Sheet conveyor also serves
as sheet conditioner i.e. it brings down temperature of the sheets
to room temperature level. During transportation the sheets rest
in upright position on stainless steel strips and are supported
by stainless steel wire frames.

Wafer Spreading Machine
This machine consists of 3.4
meter long frame with the following sections: a) belt conveyor b)
cream hopper made of stainless steel c) pair of stainless steel
rollers ( one of which is fluted over its entire surface) d) a second
pair of stainless steel rollers with plain surfaces Baked wafer
sheets are placed manually on the belt conveyor, which takes them
between the first set of rollers, which deposit cream on each sheet.
A plain wafer sheet is placed on creamed sheet making it a sandwich,
which passes through the second set of rollers for pressing it together.
Flat belt conveyor is driven by 1 H.P. motor whereas pressing rollers
are driven by another 1 H.P. motor.

Cooling Tunnel
It consists of a 2 x 6 meter
long insulated tunnel. The inner surface of the entire tunnel is
made of stainless steel. The sheets are transported through the
tunnel on moving belts. The interior is cooled by a thermostatically
controlled A.C. unit of 24,000 BTU capacity. A minimum temperature
of +6 C can be maintained inside the tunnel.

Wafer Cutter
Top of the cutter is made of
stainless steel. At the push of a button a box moves and pushes
sandwiched sheets through a wire frame cutting it into long pieces.
As one pusher completes its operation the other one starts and pushes
the length wise cut pieces through another frame thus cutting it
into bars. Powered by a 2 H.P. motor.

Crusher
The vessel and blades are made
of stainless steel. Blades are rotated at the speed of 2800 rpm
by a 3 H.P. motor. The vessel is tiltable by a lever for easy emptying
of the pulverised scrap.
